after I left my comfort zone
in an unfamiliar land
trying to make it on my own
back to ground zero
biting the bullet is a must
return or move on
it’s either boom or bust
distracted by the images
of those I left behind
with battles being fought
in the corners of my mind
the urge is to persist
even if I hit the wall
i've to convince myself
i’m a trooper after all
