an urge starts a quest
where the body and mind unite
the road becomes a witness
the distance will test our might
each stride marks the struggle
that we all have to go through
we might run out of breath
but we have to continue

the pace will always vary
but the flow should not stop
the most important rule
is to never give up
the finish line will be there
it's like finding the perfect rhyme
we'll reach our destination
it's just a matter of space and time

situations will vary
but we should not stop
the most important rule in life
is to never ever give up
