life goes on
while grief tags along
an inevitable feeling
even if we think we are strong
bits and pieces of the past
following us constantly
no matter where we go
there are droplets of memory
an endless cycle
where time becomes a burden
the pain is just reshaping
while the end is still uncertain
guilt is reinforced
by the images we see
no matter what we do
we can’t outrun a memory
