unreciprocated but the flow continues
inconvenience is nothing but a test
there are more important things to do
than to think if we really did our best
we can’t satiate a restless heart
there will always be an empty space
no matter how strong our faith is
someone will always fall from grace
depth is meaningless when frivolity kicks in
when norms are rejected to take a risky path
we remove our tracks to conceal our mistakes
and escape the pounding of a suppressed wrath
but life goes on even when we opted to ignore
the consequences of a deliberate attempt
to divert our minds away from certainty
and justify a situation full of contempt
