each post extends the guilt
many things are left undone
words aren’t simply enough
to fulfill them one by one
consequences are lining up
each has a story to tell
putting them all together
feels like a burning hell
a painful price to pay
for all those years of neglect
every moment’s a reminder
of emotions left unchecked
life seems to go on well
but the crack is kept inside
a desire may still be breathing
but the resistance is implied
remorse is a waste of time
if we missed out a lot
no matter how hard we try
we’ll never find the right spot
it’s a temporarily relief
so we can lessen the load
but there’s no moving on
when we hit the haunted road
