fighting my own demons
I’m running through hell
there are voices I hear
coming from an unseen shell
for how long is the struggle
only time can really tell
is this the price I’ve to pay
for pretending all is well
something isn’t right
truth won’t show its face
the fire that burns within
is missing without a trace
it feels like I’m in the midst
of an unwinnable race
no matter how hard I try
it seems I’m falling from grace
