liabilities overflow
we usually take the bait
the usual path is tempting
it shakes us to the core
we only earn this much
but keep on spending more
the lure of greater access
will bring us to our knees
when the debt trap reveals
those INFLATED fees
a cycle will ensue
we’ll be under duress
work more to earn more
to pay for what we possess
the race is on
the competition is real
the urge to accumulate
is something we can’t conceal
if this trend goes on
it’s simply a done deal
the debt to income ratio
will be our Achilles’ heel
