IF IT’S TIME TO GO

a dream is calling you
you still can’t decide
don’t know what to do
there’s a struggle inside
you can’t move your feet
the weight is too much
your heart’s pounding
your mind’s out of touch

you want to look back
but there isn’t much time
got to move your feet
and start the climb
drowning in your tears
you can’t change your mind
nothing you can do
but to leave them behind

if it’s time to go
decide and walk away
if it’s time to go
don't wait another day

embracing uncertainty
going to a distant land
not knowing if everything
would have to go as planned
the future’s unclear
you’re blinded by doubts
if you can’t decide
you might lose the bout

it’s agonizing but
you have to go through this
of course there are faces
that you’re going to miss
but if it’s your time to go
there’s nothing you can do
but to hold on to a dream
that it’s not only for you
