the code is broken a secret is known
the words are seen a cover is blown
a breach of trust is pointing to a name
i guess our lives will never be the same

nowhere to run i traverse an empty road
within me is a heart that is ready to explode
a storm is brewing darkness blinds my eyes
it will never be the same suddenly I realized

it will never be the same
it’s now a waiting game
we can wait and see
but it will never be the same

the stakes are high the threat is real
whatever I do it won't be a done deal
a dead end is waiting if I won’t change my aim
i know it will never it will never be the same

lurking in the shadows is a painful reality
the end of this battle is nothing but misery
i have to get out of this fantasy
while I have the chance to set our hearts free
