light-years away from perfection
a vision is distorted by deceit
the path to righteousness
is now a one-way street
it isn’t that easy to stand
and to get back on my feet
something from a distant past
resonates a life that’s incomplete
playing with logic most of the time
I merely did things on my own
ignoring the warning signs
I left the neutral zone
with the verses I write
at times I cast the first stone
disregarding the consequences
I see a landscape like a killer drone
