OUR JOURNEY GOES ON

we’ve been through a lot of summers
we’ve come across severe storms
but this time it will be different
we’re so far away from home
a new way of life will dare
our judgment and our norms
a landscape may be appealing
but it is not our comfort zone

no matter where we are 
our journey goes on
seasons will change 
but our love will keep us strong

our journey took a sudden turn
it seemed we have to start again
adding new seasons to our lives
we’ll adjust every now and then
the clouds of doubts will appear
as we explore this foreign land
if this is to be our second home
we must go together hand in hand

first autumn together
first winter and then spring
we can’t help but wonder
what this new voyage has to bring
