“A guilty conscience needs to confess. A work of art is a confession.” Albert Camus
there’s always something missing
no matter how appealing a place can be
there’s no such thing as an escape route
if the past still holds the key
every moment wasted becomes a burden
when the real meaning comes up close
more unheard voices reverberates
and distance just makes it worse
the definitions are different
assumptions are meaningless
the light at the end of the tunnel
lies on what we are about to confess
we spend most of our time
creating a fantasy collage
while concealing the secret tales
behind that misleading facade
the images we show the world
the songs that we listen to
the kind of words we use
when expressing our points of view
may bring us for a moment
to a tranquil state
but when time mingles with truth
maybe it was too little, too late
